He was not being poetic about it...
Come sit on the floor with me.

You don't have to get better first. No morning routine, no five-step framework, no permission slip from anyone. Just ten minutes, something real in your hands, and nobody watching.
Five ways in.
Pick whichever one you've actually got the energy for today. They all lead to the same floor.

Hi, I'm Dani
I'm the one who kept the glitter.
I taught little kids for fifteen years. I put up with the meetings, the paperwork, and the politics for exactly one reason — I got to sit on the floor. Paint everywhere, weird textures, dancing for no reason at all.
Then I left for the grown-up world and found out it's the same building with the sandbox taken out. Turns out the job was never the problem. Losing the floor was the problem.
So I'm putting the floor back, for adults. No qualifications needed, no ceremony, nobody in a white robe. Just real stuff to touch and permission to be silly on an ordinary Tuesday.
